Miami Wins Second Annual Charleston Classic

The Miami Hurricanes of the ACC will be taking the hardware back to Florida as they defeated South Carolina, 85-70. Dewayne Collins was named MVP of the tournament after he dominated most big men throughout the tournament.

Southern Conference rival of C of C, Davidson, went 0-3 in the Charleston Classic. The Wildcats seemed to be struggling after Stephen Curry left early for the NBA this past summer.

For 2010, it is rumored that the N.C. State Wolfpack of the ACC will be playing in the Charleston Classic but nothing is in stone yet.
